Please take time to read these Terms and Conditions carefully. They explain how you can use our website and services. By visiting or using our website, you agree to follow these Terms and any other rules or notices posted for specific services or areas on our site. These extra rules are a part of our Terms and Conditions.

U Custom Packaging may update or change the website and these Terms without giving prior notice. It is your responsibility to check this page every time you visit to stay updated.

Use of Website

By using our website, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into binding contracts. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information and for all activities under your account.​

Trademarks and Intellectual Property

You are fully responsible for the content you use in your custom packaging orders. This includes any images, logos, fonts, or graphics that you combine with our products. You must have proper permission to use any third-party content in your order. You agree that your content does not violate any copyrights, trademarks, privacy rights, or other legal rights.

By placing an order with us, you confirm that:

  • You have all legal rights and permissions for the content you are submitting.
  • You give U Custom Packagingpermission to use this content to create and deliver your custom products.

Customer Content Responsibility

All content, images, text, or designs submitted by you are your responsibility. This means you are responsible for making sure the content does not break any laws or infringe on any intellectual property rights.

You agree not to upload or submit anything illegal, harmful, offensive, or inappropriate. This includes anything that belongs to someone else without their permission. You are also responsible for following all local laws related to online conduct and content.

U Custom Packaging does not control or check customer content before it is uploaded. We are not responsible for any content you may find offensive or inappropriate while using our site.

 

Account and Password Security

You are responsible for keeping your account and password secure. If someone else uses your account to place an order, you are responsible for that activity. When an order is placed using your account, you allow U Custom Packaging to use and modify the submitted content to fulfill your order. This includes permission to store your designs and process them for printing.

 

Content Removal and Legal Disclosures

U Custom Packaging has the right—but not the obligation—to remove any content that violates these Terms or is found to be offensive or harmful. We may also keep and share your content if required by law or to:

  • Follow legal orders or investigations,
  • Enforce our Terms and Conditions,
  • Respond to claims of rights violations,
  • Protect our company, users, or the public.

 

Design Files

At U Custom Packaging, we provide design files in low resolution (72 DPI) only. If you require high-resolution files for other purposes, please contact us at sales@ucustompackaging.com to request a quote.

Customer-Submitted Artwork

All submitted artwork, images, and designs should be in CMYK color mode and have a minimum resolution of 300 DPI. Please note, we are not responsible for any color differences that may occur when converting files from RGB to CMYK. Additionally, U Custom Packaging is not liable for low-quality prints that result from blurry, pixelated, or distorted images in the files provided by customers.

Proofing and Final Design Approval

Before printing, we require customers to approve the final artwork and job specification sheet. Once your order is placed, we will send a proof along with the job specs via email. It is your responsibility to carefully review all provided information—including design layout, spelling, size, and production/delivery timelines.

Important:

  • We are not responsible for errors or changes not indicated in the final approved proof.
  • Proofreading is solely the customer’s responsibility.
  • Because files are created in many ways, unexpected changes may happen. Therefore, we recommend printing your proof at 100% scale to check layout, spelling, and positioning before approval.
  • Once approval is given, the design will move to production and be printed as-is.

Note:
Color seen on screen proofs can help with layout and design positioning, but they do not guarantee color accuracy or ink density. If exact color matching is important, we highly recommend purchasing a color match hard proof. Please also be aware that lamination may alter how colors appear in the final product.

 

Materials Used

Please note that the card stock or paper materials used in our products are not food-safe. If you require food-grade materials, you must notify us in writing before placing your order so we can accommodate accordingly.

Damaged or Lost Packages

Customers must check their order upon delivery and report any missing or damaged items to U Custom Packaging and the courier within 3 business days. We are not liable for claims made after this period or for third-party shipping issues. Slight overages or shortages (up to 5%) may occur, as per industry standards.

If exact counts are essential, please order 10% extra. Reshipping fees apply if an incorrect address is provided. All site content is offered “as is” without warranties. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages from service delays, errors, or unauthorized site use.

Customer Responsibility

Customers must review and approve both the layout and content before printing begins. U Custom Packaging is not liable for printing errors caused by the following:

  • Incorrect design layout or graphic placement
  • Wrong font usage
  • Spelling, grammar, or punctuation errors
  • Incorrect or missing folds, die-cuts, or slits
  • Final product dimensions
  • Color inconsistencies (unless a hardcopy proof was ordered)

 

Color Matching and Hardcopy Proofs

We strive to produce colors that closely resemble those in your submitted print-ready files. However, due to the nature of different printing surfaces and techniques, exact color matching cannot be guaranteed. Our final output will be within 90% accuracy of your approved digital proof. To guarantee accurate color reproduction, we recommend ordering a hardcopy color proof for an added fee.

Please note, U Custom Packaging is not responsible for any color differences between your digital files and the final printed product unless a hardcopy proof was requested and approved.

Limitation of Liability

U Custom Packaging shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our products or website. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the product in question.

Changes to Terms and Conditions

We reserve the right to update or modify these terms at any time without prior notice. Your continued use of the website constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.​
